Well do not know if I've said, but I'm a lover of literature! And today I bring to you guys a poem engagements, especially is one of my favorites! I hope you enjoy :)
Forget you?

Forget you? If you dream at night and gaze up during the day;
If all crazy and deep devotion to the heart of the poet devote;
If the prayers said on your behalf to power that Heaven must protect;
If winged thoughts a mile a minute that you are going to have;
If you mixed up reveries of what's to come in my life ...
If this flaming oblivion thou indeed shalt be forgotten!
Forget you? That forest birds forget their sweet melody;
Forget you? The sea, under the moon, forget the timing of waves;
The thirsty flowers forget to drink the refreshing dew;
You even forget your beloved land, and its breathtaking mountains.
Forget every face, old acquaintance, every occasion so dear ...
When these things are abandoned by thee, thou shalt be forgotten!
Guards, if thou wilt, thy maiden peace, always calm and carefree,
God forbid that thy happy because my soul is desolate look;
However, while this soul is free, ah! that my skirt not to wander,
And yes, that feeds the humble faith and tolerant capacity to love;
If these, shielded by years end I have no value ...
So forget me; but do not believe that thou canst never be forgotten!

Esquecer-te? Se sonhar à noite e contemplar-te durante o
dia;
Se toda a louca e profunda devoção que o coração do poeta
dedicaria;
Se as preces ditas em teu favor ao poder que o Céu tem de
proteger;
Se pensamentos alados a mil por hora que a ti vão ter;
Se devaneios te misturam ao que está por vir na minha
vida...
Se isto chamas de esquecimento, tu, de fato, serás
esquecida!
Esquecer-te? Que os pássaros da floresta esqueçam sua doce
melodia;
Esquecer-te? Que o mar, sob a lua, esqueça das ondas a
sincronia;
Que as flores sedentas se esqueçam de beber o orvalho
refrescante;
Tu mesmo te esqueças de tua terra adorada, e seus montes
deslumbrantes.
Esqueces cada rosto, velho conhecido, cada ocasião tão
querida...
Quando estas coisas forem por ti abandonadas, tu serás
esquecida!
Guardas, se quiseres, tua paz virgem, sempre calma e
despreocupada,
Não permita Deus que tua alma feliz por minha causa se veja
desolada;
No entanto, enquanto essa alma é livre, ah! que a minha não
saia a vagar,
E, sim, que alimente a fé humilde e a capacidade tolerante
de amar;
Se estas, por anos resguardadas, no fim não me tiverem
valia...
Então me esqueças; mas não acrediteis jamais que tu podes
ser esquecida!
